Zackary was cracking me up tonight. I asked him how his day was at daycare ("school"). Man, did he ever tell me! He arms were swinging, he was talking on and on about what he did. Did I understand any of it? Not one bit. The best part was that he was sort of cracking himself up about it. He must have had a great day! When Daddy asked if he danced with this little girl, Audrey, who is in his class - he smiled, nodded his head, and says "yea." I think he may have a little crush. :)

update
- I forgot to mention that Zack and I went to the circus with some of our friends last weekend. Zack was entertained most of the time, but especially towards the end he was starting to lose interest. He really liked the elephants (we've been working on getting him to say "elephant."), tigers, horses and zebras (basically the live animals.)
- Our first week at Toddler Group (and now today (Monday) is our second) was a success. Zack especially likes to play in the rice table. Toddler Group is basically open play. There are several different stations or themes he could play with, and it's up to him to decide what to do. He seems to enjoy the slide and the rice table the most. I tried to get him play with the art supplies today, but he wasn't interested. There are 14 moms/kids in our group. After lunch time our leader, Suzy gets out the bubble machine. The kids go crazy with the bubbles. We have circle time where we sing a few songs, dance (Zack showed us all his dance moves!) and then it's time to go home! What a fun day.
- On Sunday we took Zack to the Aquarium. I thought this would be a great idea because he loves this Ocean Animals book he got from his Auntie Debbie. He got to
touch the starfish and sea anenomes, but really he loved splashing his hands in the water. He loved watching the otters swim. We saw lots of fish, big, small and every size in between!

starting a new class
Tomorrow, Monday, I start a new parent/toddler class with Zack. It's starts during his regular naptime, so we'll see how it goes. I'm looking forward to it. Bascially the kids play, do art, and have circle time. The parents watch the kids, chat amongst ourselves, and attend a 20-30 min session that usually will have some sort of topic like "healthy eating." Sounds like fun.
Lillian Grace
Say hi to my newest cousin Lillian. She was born on September 1st, also my Uncle Brent's birthday. I went to Ellensburg to meet her on her birthday, she was only 10.5 hours old. I accidentally threw a ball and it hit her right in the head. She's a tough cookie, she didn't even cry. I can't wait until she's old enough so I can play with her.
